Raya Celebration

It's been a while since my last post. I am disconnected as I am unable to maintaining any connection 24/7. Despite from that, I am glad to be writing again. Since earlier this year, I have moving forwards in my career planning and development. It's no doubt that seeking for career opportunity is a toughest task for me so far.

To be disconnected to the tough job in seeking for career opportunity, I am blessed with the raya celebration jumping in this August. Driving back from Shah Alam to Alor Star with my little brother tickles me with the Hari Raya feels. Listening to the vintage raya songs which were never be outdated, I started my journey. Throughout the long journey, I was stunned by the long line-up cars due to the accident ahead. It caused heavy traffic from Tapah to Gopeng. Arrived at nightfall, I was taking my nap as it was a heavy day for me.

Raya is coming in. First day of raya celebration, prepared me with lots of raya's envelope to be given to my little bros and sis, nephew and etc. By evening, I turned up to few of my friend's houses. 2nd and 3rd day, I was visiting few known houses (not as in my childhood time) and hanging out with my friends.

Raya Celebration brings different feelings and meanings. One things that I know for sure is that we decide the outcome of it. It will be meaningful and blessed with happiness as we decide to make it to be. The method that we use to change that is inside us. Sometimes we have to dig harder to produce a better outcome.

Once in a year brings Raya Celebration a day not to be missed. A celebration for the successful of trial. We did achieve something in our life without we realize it.

Lost - A Funny Sign

I have a very interesting experience during my travel with the komuter that very one day back from my office. As usual, the clock showed 6:34 p.m. which the time of my train to arrive, I was waiting at the main station . I was rushing to find a place in the train once it arrived. After few minutes departed, the train stop at the third station from the main station. Then, came an old guy with a quite big luggage.

As the moment he came in, he was being so talkative. At first he was complaining about the ladies coach being provided to women and how it is not benefiting the man. So, he chat with a young fellow who appeared to be supportive towards the old guy. Suddenly he asked either this is because of Islamic country? Which we can see but cannot touch? It started to get the intention of the crowd in the train. However, some ignore him after look at him for a while, some started to look outside of the train, few put on their earphones and listen to songs.

I was quite near with that guy, however the crowded surrounding and noise from the train unable me to listen precisely of that old guy's conversation. Then, he continue chatting with that young fellow and I heard a bit about he explaining on Christianity to that young fellow who is not an Islam. He explaining something about Jesus and said that he also studied about other religion. He sounded like he knows everything and a very proud old guy.

After a while of the travel, he still didn't stop chatting with the young fellow and the people surround them choose to ignore them. He seems to know everything about every topic that he discussed with the young fellow. Once the train reached at my station which 10 station from the main station, suddenly that old guy asked that young fellow "Where is here?" The young fellow said that this is XXX station. Once he heard, he said "When we will arrived at the main station?" The young fellow shocked. He said to that old guy, "Oh my God, you are in the wrong train. The main station is far from here. It is the opposite of the current railway."

It started to create a funny feeling inside me and amazed on how God shows us the sign in a funny way. Sometimes we may think that we know everything and well educated about everything without we knowing that we are actually in the 'wrong train' and it is far from the 'main station'. I am not judging anyone or any religion by all means, as I am here to share my views. Don't look where you fall, but where you slipped.

P/S : The ladies coach existed because of the safety purpose of women that being molest almost everytime. It is not related either Malaysia is an Islamic country or not because it's not only the Islamic women benefit from it but also the whole Malaysian women. If our wife, sisters and moms can be safe with that system, why can't we sacrifice for a little bit.

New Academic Calendar 2011

It's a very shocking news to some undergraduates regarding the new academic calendar for 2011. While in few undergraduates, it was been known from November 2010. Since the announcement of the matter being made, they are several student's associations expressing their concern towards the matter.

Among the reasons why the academic calendar is going to change is because it will synchronize the domestic and international academic calendar. Every decision that have been made will always creating debates among those who are in pro and contra of the issues. However, we must always look further either this matter will be beneficial in the long term or not.

The first phase of change is always begin with sacrifice. Thus, will we be able to do so as if it will benefit the others in the long run? Does it worth it? A proper research need to be done to ensure that it will really be beneficial for our undergrads instead of just following others' steps. If the research have been done, it is the responsibility for the party involved to announce it earlier and clearly about how it will benefit the country.

Besides that, it will be within 2 years ++ for the undergraduates to complete their degree and move forward to either employment or Master education. However, for those who are unemployed for the time being, you better step on the fuel because they will be more fresh graduates every year that will challenge the chances ahead. May the best grads win.. :)

I'm Back Blogging

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to everyone...

It's been quite long time since my last post in this blog. As I am currently being able to spend some times in front of my laptop and thinking on some issues involved, I am now back blogging.

I do notice some of the issues during my 'break' from blogging. I am do more concern as the issues happened within my nearest surrounding and they have been mislead by it. On the other hand, there are some interesting experiences that I have learned during the National Conference - CEO's Mind : Today's Talk for Tomorrow's Walk which I was involved as the program's director.

Apart from that, I would also like to share some of my wonderful experiences in komuter, on the road, in the car, and many places which I manage to capture some interesting incidents that keep me thinking about how wonderful life is really is to all of us.

I will begin my comeback post as soon as possible. Thank you for your time in reading my views. I am welcome all opinions as I am here for nothing more than to learn.

Management of University

We seldom realize that we always have the right to speak, comment or even criticize the management of the university which we live in. Why that nowadays, it seems like the undergraduates are treated such as school children who didn't know how to choose for themselves, act for themselves, speak for themselves. Does it ever occurs their brilliant mind that undergraduates should be given ample space to decide for themselves?

Empowerment towards undergraduates in university is a need to make sure that they can organize themselves and the society to ensure the maturity of Malaysian undergraduates. Management is a big role and responsible hidden in it. In university, they are some management can be done by the undergraduates themselves. So, why don't we snatch this opportunity in order to learn a new system of management in our life.

Encouragement by the university could play as master role in developing tomorrow's leader today. Blocking and keep blocking the freedom and space of undergraduates could only bring harm to the future nation. It is unacceptable to allow such politics to be play above education. In 2020, we will see the mentality of school children will take over the national leader and bring our nation to new era of collapse.

And of course, this is only my opinion, however, i do believe that we should be given an opportunity to undergraduates to achieve more because the sky is not the limit.

Working

When we talk about working, do we realize the responsibility that we carry on? As a worker, it is not just doing your job as it is stated in the job description. To achieve the excitement of work, we first, should choose wisely the job that we can absorb with. The key element is the interest towards the work. It is true that nowadays we cannot be so choosy when it come to work, however, we still have options in the other areas of work that might interest us.

Being apart of an organization is not a routine. Grow up, study, graduate and then work seems to be a normal life to live on. Sometimes people doesn't realize why are they working? Why must this job? Why I am working under somebody? and etc. etc. By choosing the precise line of work, we might enjoy the activity we do in work and boost up the great atmosphere between co-workers.

Being a leader of an organization or a team is difficult. Despite meeting many people, there are lots of attitudes inside it too. How can a leader satisfy the needs of the whole team or each individual? How can the leader that should lead being lead by followers? In working we should know the atmosphere of the team and absorb the surrounding efficiently.

Learning is a develop process. Through learning we expose ourselves to the knowledge that soon we will implement it. We must not believe that working is just a routine like shower, eat and etc. etc. We must enjoy the work and pull the satisfaction high in the desire to work. The better we absorb the atmosphere of work, the best we can achieve satisfaction in work.

Mindset of Our Students

Back to history, we see that students were moving as a power that can stand on their own and decide for their future. Remember that we used to be colonized(jajah), then our youngsters(students) moved to support our country in fighting the colonist. They moved as a power to assist our government, society, and our country.

After that revolution, students were very inspired to think on their own and express their feelings without any boundaries. Yet, we have to admit that somehow boundaries are necessary in order to prevent any misleading of the students. However, when there are too much barriers for the students, they are now shut and down. As a country should realize that the next leadership will come from today's students, they need to give the way for our students to be freely think and expressing their thoughts and feelings.

Those were the days, when most of the universities were filled with unique students that can lead themselves and defending their friends from internal colonist. Those were the days, when the election of students representatives were massively held and encourage students to build up themselves to someone better in order to be elected and carry out duty to represent the students.

It is sad to see the world we live today. The earth is dying, the war is coming, the nations are separating, the students are still wishing. If there is nothing going to be done to ensure the comeback of the spirit of students, we will be watching the end of our generation's mind.

Recently, I do spend lot of my time watching this unbelievable episodes of The Arrival. The Antichrist or known as Dajal to the Muslim is always be surround us after all this time. Discovering that the The Antichrist using people from Queen and King to lower level people to rule the world before it will raise up at the end of the world. In The Arrival, I found that there are so many proved that related towards this Antichrist.

Madonna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and many more artist have worship the devil so called (Lucifer). The Arrival told you not only that but how we have been hypnotize by the television that being controlled by the Zionist and tell us lies everyday until we fell it is right already. There are so many ways we have been fooled. They used music, movies, religion, artist, and many more to make sure we follow them.

In The Arrival, it also tells you that Micheal Jackson (peace lover) won't bow towards them and have been killed for that. It is also inform us about the meaning behind the name of "HOLLYWOOD", the truth about the Freemason and not like in the National Treasure Movie. The Illuminati that the underground movement that worship Satan.

It's shocking and there are many American that fought for the truth and the right of human being and not all of them are as guilty as their president. The New World Order is an Antichrist propaganda as well as The War On Terror. The plan of 9/11 have been discovered before it's happen. One of the amazing genre of music is golden oldies. You can't deny it with the combination of the blues and jazz in the golden oldies era, it makes the golden oldies a delight arrangement of music for decades. Shall we embrace the existing of the golden oldies music in new generation?? Why not??

Take a ride in your car along the highway, turn up to golden oldies collection, you will find peace and calm. Jason and Allen make a good gay couple of golden oldies. Gay but great musician. Take Elton John for example. Remember the song 'Sorry seems to be the hardest word'?? Written by him and his gay mates. It comes from the heart either gay or not. Haha...

However, on top of that, it lies another sibling in the golden oldies family. The BubbleGum Music. When you pick Jazz, you can't deny Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, etc.etc. BubbleGum Music recorded termandous music of all time. When Respect Is No Longer In Our Dictionary - Tun Dr. Mahathir

Those who are working hard to earn money for a living are blissful everytime they heard of retirement (only if there are paid during retirement). After years, months, weeks, hours, minutes, of working, now they can find peace of life during retirement.

However, what happen to our national hero is completely unacceptable. Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad, one of the longest serving leader in Asia, had not yet retired completely. During his reign, he have tried everything to change the mindsets of our Malaysian forwards. How do we pay respect to this man?? By accusations? Sued? Allegation?

Several months after the starting of his retirement, it seems that the government tried to hide him behind enemy line. Despite of spending his time with his grandchildren, he have to make a comeback in politic. The enemy struggle to bring him down completely and the so called 'allies' as well didn't support him. He stood up to every country that condemn our Malaysia during his reign and be honored by the title of Anti-West. Now the Malaysian establish Anti-Mahathir.

Every single action that he made, like it or not, soon it will be answered by a praise for what he have done. This man is just a human being. Mistake is one of the human being's nature. Compare to the goodness he have done, we shall find the answer. Please, let us be reminded that our world is a better place once we keep the value of self respect in each and everyone of us.

Perhaps there are people who will always wanted to bring you down, however, there are also the other side of the people who will always be with you along the way. May Allah bless you Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.

Our Government - Students Perspective

There are numerous voices that happen to disagree with whatever that government proposed in making our country better and better. This voices however did express vital points that should be consider before any action taken. I do believe that some students are very particular in any substance that will effecting their future. Due to my view, I believe that nowadays students are carried away by the people who focus their attention towards them. It is easy to be influence once you are lack of attention from the other side of people whom you seem to support.

Listening is always be the number one cure for broken heart. In medic and pyschology, it has been proved that listening is the important element in order to cure the patient. The government should listen more to the people and students is the important body of society that need to be listen to. It is obvious that this group of young generation did have lack of experiences, however, with some guidance, we can establish a new era of young generation in advance. The students need to be expose to the real situation that happen surround them in order to not be influence easily by those who see this as an opportunity for them.

I am attracted with the establishment of Perdana Leadership Foundation. What I am most attractive is if this so called Perdana Leadership Foundation can offer some place for the students to join them in small clubs under the Perdana Leadership Foundation. Through this foundation, we shall, the students generation and the leaders of government sharing ideas and polishing the apprantice of our future leaders.

It is seem to be a great move by the government to organise GTP (Government Transformation Program) Open Day in Sunway last week. Students should grab this opportunity to voice up their opinions and government can listen to their ideas and opinions.

Soon we might become a leader of a few people, family, group, society, or even country. As life goes on, learn we must. Our path of life is our school, our step in the path is our experience. The more you take the steps, the more you gain experience. Together, we could build a better nation for a better world.

Current Situation

Months after months I try to find out what I like most in life. What I am going to hold on for a very long time? However, it still didn't come through yet or might be won't come at all. It is obvious for me to keep on walking and walking as my world keep spinning and spinning.

Dude.. Life can be so frustrating but it can also be so interesting. I need something that would keep me walking 'til the day come. Is it really fun to travel around the world and learn so much from it? It is fun when you have the whole world with you. I try to figure out that someone like me who is obviously didn't have money, slow in my academic, lazy in work and completely not so useful can contribute much to society. How?

Opportunity for us in the future is getting narrow and narrow and even some great person also fail to survive in life. As we keep thinking that is always have an opportunity for us, there will always be the job vacancy advertisement every single day, we will never try to improve ourself and our next generation.

It is time for us to start creating an opportunity for ourselves and others rather than wishing that the opportunity will come and knock our front door as soon as we graduate. There are several government agencies that were form to help young generation in entrepreneurship. As long as the government take their responsibility in assist us seriously, we should learn and gain from it. Plan of Future?

It is the end of 2009. What is waiting for us in 2010? What is our plan in the future? Basically, we are getting older year by year and we can't run from it. Some of our friends or the people we know has already married, has child, finished study, working, establish their own business, dead etc...

What fields should we focus on? Business? Agriculture? Finance? Politic? Skillful Thief? Professional Lier? or perhaps just let it be and see what will come out from it. Frankly speaking, I also don't know what am I going to do next. I have several plans, however, to be sure that it's going to be true... emmm... I am quite not confidence.

Some of my friends just wanted to work, have own money, enjoy life, then die. It's the nature of life, so live your life. It's facinating when talking about the future of our life. How we arrange it? Is it really going to be happen?. I would like to ask you folks about your plan of your future and will it be happening? If so, what make you so sure?

Memang mengagumkan apabila melihat filem 2012 nie. Satu filem yang banyak menonjolkan elemen teknologi dan 3D. Plot ceritanya lebih kurang sama seperti The Armageddon, The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Day After Tomorrow dan sebagainya. Mesej utamanya ialah mengingatkan kita terhadap hari kiamat.

Terdapat beberapa teori tentang 2012 dan yang paling popular adalah berkenaan dengan suku kaum yang terdahulu yang dikenali sebagai suku kaum Mayan telah menafsirkan bahawa 2012 adalah merupakan tahun dimana kiamat akan berlaku. Jangka hayat bumi sekarang adalah 30 lebih juta tahun. Suku kaum tersebut menggunakan teori pengiraan mereka sendiri bagi mengukur hari kiamat. Ada juga beberapa teori yang menyokong sepenuhnya teori suku kaum ini.

Selain itu, teori ini juga menyatakan akan tarikh sebenar hari kiamat iaitu pada 21 Disember 2012. Suku kaum Mayan ini boleh kita lihat di dalam filem Apocalypto. Suku kaum ini mencipta kalendar mereka sendiri.

Sejak daripada penemuan artifak tersebut, banyak kajian telah dijalankan bagi mencari sejauh mana benarnya teori suku kaum ini. Dari semasa ke semasa, kita dapati pelbagai penemuan dan kejadian yang pelik telah berlaku di bumi kita.

Saya tertarik dengan babak akhir filem ini di mana manusia masih mampu bertahan sepertimana di zaman lupusnya dinasour. Mereka cuba untuk mencipta satu bentuk pemikiran kepada masyarakat akan harapan bagi manusia untuk terus hidup sekiranya anda mempunyai banyak wang sebagai cagaran. 1 billion euro bagi satu tiket???

Kalau cuba kita perhatikan kembali, semua filem2 seumpama ini berakhir dengan masih wujudnya manusia bagi meneruskan generasi yang baru. Terdapat beberapa percanggahan pendapat dari segi agama di mana Kristian tidak dapat menujukkan tanda2 berlakunya kiamat sepertimana wujudnya di dalam Al-Quran. Mungkin jika penerbit dan produksinya adalah Islam, maka tanda2 kiamat dapat ditonjolkan di sepanjang perjalanan filem dan plot terakhirnya di mana tiada seorang pun manusia yang akan terlepas dari mati.

Saya tidaklah berapa arif tentang Islam tetapi sebagai umat Islam, kita juga percaya kepada Qada' dan Qadar dan hari kiamat. Moga kita dapat mengambil ikhtibar dari filem ini.

CuTi Sem???

Sekali lagi cuti sem di UUM. Haiz.. sunyi dan bosan. Menunaikan tanggungjawab dan amanah ni memang susah sikit. Tapi, bila dipikir-pikir balik, banyak benda boleh 'dimanfaatkan' di UUM waktu cuti sem nie. Waktu macam nilah baru boleh menenangkan fikiran dari segala hal akademik yang membelenggu otak yang beku ini.

Bila menapak ja kat kompleks sukan tue, dah macam kompleks sukan kat rumah sendiri dah. Kolam renang tue dah macam kolam renang belakang rumah. Waktu ni lah baru berkesempatan pergi Taman Rusa lepak menenangkan fikiran. Nasib baik tak bawa set golf, kalu tak, dah lama padang golf tu jadi medan pukul-memukul.

Bagi mencari fokus dalam bekerja, gangguan (distraction) haruslah diketepikan. Sesetengah orang yang sentiasa menjaga gangguan itu dan sentiasa memenuhi kehendak gangguan di sekelilingnya, pasti tidak dapat fokus dalam kerja.

Belajar adalah satu tanggungjawab dan mengaplikasikan pengajian adalah satu inovasi. Kalau dapat diluangkan sedikit masa untuk merenung siapa kita, di mana kita sekarang dan ke mana hala tuju kita selepas ini, adakah kita dapat memastikan masa hadapan kita akan lebih baik kelak?

Selalunya ramai yang lupa untuk berhenti dan menoleh ke belakang sekejap bagi mencari siapa diri kita dan ke mana hala tuju kita. Mungkin cuti sem nie menjadi satu faedah bagi kita berehat merenung siapa diri kita sewaktu di sekolah dulu, di mana kita sekarang dan ke mana kita selepas ini.

Exam... Exam...

Bila dah masuk universiti nie, exam tue kira perkara biasa la. Quiz pun dah macam exam, assingment pun dah macam exam, final exam lagilah macam exam. Topic paling tidak digemari oleh golongan pelajar adalah exam. Kadang-kadang yang menjadi isunya adalah sesetengah subjek tidak langsung akan berkaitan dengan kerjaya yang bakal kita lalui kelak. Jadi, apa gunanya subjek2 tersebut diperkenalkan.

Pelbagai perubahan dan rombakan silibus pengajian dijalankan dari dahulu hingga sekarang. Sejajar dengan perubahan pasaran kerja, silibus pengajian di universiti juga turut berubah. Memang membebankan bila berjalan ke dewan peperiksaan dan menghadapi tekanan mental dengan suasana yang sunyi, sejuk dan membosankan. Ada yang bertanya, adakah peperiksaan dapat dihapuskan dan biarkan pelajar terus belajar dan dinilai dari segi pembentangan kertas subjek, kerja kursus dan kecekapan mengaplikasikan subjek tersebut dengan kerjaya.

Sesungguhnya, peperiksaan tidak dapat dihapuskan. Andai kata peperiksaan dihapuskan, maka kualiti pelajar2 di Malaysia akan menjadi teruk dan mundur. Banyak pelajar yang selalu mengharapkan jalan pintas tanpa kesusahan (termasuk saya) untuk mencapai kejayaan. Ya, penting bagi kita mencari jalan dan cepat dan selamat. Peperiksaan merupakan jalan yang panjang dan berliku.

Walaubagaimanapun, adakah kita mengaplikasikan subjek2 yang dipelajari di universiti di dalam kehidupan dan kerjaya kita ataupun kita akan mula belajar benda yang lain di tempat kerja bagi memenuhi kehendak majikan? Selagi pengaplikasian terhadap subjek2 tersebut tidak berlaku, bagi saya, peperiksaan hanyalah satu formaliti bagi sesebuah universiti.

Peperiksaan adalah penting, penguasaan kemahiran berperanan penuh.

Academic Vs Talent

Most of our generation today would like to pursue thier study in highest level that they can. It is very interesting. However, the curiosity here, why are they so interested in academic field? Is that because more and more opportunities have been widely open to this young generation? Most of their friends holding degree or master? Is a shame not to have an academic achievement nowadays?

Whatever reason it is, it effecting the quality of the graduates. It is obvious now that those who are excellent in academic does not mean they are good in work. There are differences between talent and academic. I once remembered when i was interviewing a Managing Director of a company and he told me that "I would rather find someone based on his/her family background rather than the paper he/she hold. The value that be cultivated by their family will determine their behaviour. We can give them education afterwards."

It's true that we not going to use all the subjects that we have learn in our working life. Study is a preparation for what we going to face in the future. Soft skills should be taken as a serious method to make sure the graduates are prepared for their future. Some of the successful person does not have their academic fulfillment, however, they have what they called experiences, talent and opportunities.

Years by years, opportunities are going to be very competitive to achieve. Will today's graduates able to survive just based on CGPA and the paper that they hold? Shall we came to university for study and exam or shall we creating chances, build a unique personality and mindsets for our future use?

I am about to organize a conference regarding the changes of personality and mindsets of today's undergraduates. Hopefully, this will be the pioneer program which lead to another and it will bring changes to our undergraduates in future.

War and it's Truth

Involved in the International Conference to Criminalize War, I am able to see the real picture of what happening towards our world causing by war. It is pleasure to see school students who took part as well in the conference and the commission. I was not able to continue the tribunal session as I have to prepare for my final examination.

It is an honor to have such a brave and respected leader as Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad who initiate such a beneficial program. While most of our students are likely to enjoy their teenager's life, thousands of children, teenagers, women are dying due to the massive killing affected by war.

Century by century, war have took place in this world. Millions or billions of human being vanished in this world without any reasonable excuse. We will never realize this facts until we are directly affected by the war.

Shall we wait until we lose our mother, father, brother, sister or any of our relatives due to the 'benefits' from the war which 'they' say it bring peace and justice? The movement of the peace activist will not go any further without cooperation from each nation, each leader, and each individual who live in this world as it is our responsibility to maintain the peace in our world.

Students which I believe to lead our nation and world in the future should be alert and expose with this matter. Being a student myself, I believe that we could do something about it and start to move the youngsters as being proven how young generation can turn down a government, so as well the same young generation should move the power to assist in criminalize war.

A journey of a thousand miles begin with the first step, and the first step have been taken. Now, it is on our shoulder to continue the miles ahead of us.

There are hundreds of reasons why some people resist English usage in education and why some people strongly support the use of English in education and a few still curious about the usage of both languages in education.

As well shall concern about our education, it is important for us to know the content of education itself and the benefits of it. However, in Malaysia, it is supremely surprise that this matter had bring our citizens at war.

English have been recognized as the primary language in the world. As we know, Bahasa Melayu did not achieve any place in the world. Yes, we should not look down at our own mother tongue, however, the main objective is to gain knowledge which indicate in the English books and lectures.

Many undergraduates resist to enter English classes, English lectures and even English group discussion. While they know the importance of English, they are still refuse to learn and accepting English in their life. Since than, our future will basically lead by those who are insist of learning English and we will never continue to move our nation globally as being done by our former leaders.

Despite from that, proper ways have to be done in order to make sure the success in implement English in our education. We can't simply refuse and so can't simply accept. Proper structure should exist before this matter took place.

Undergraduates and career people should have known and support the importance of English in our education.
